I took the pie out of the package. It seems to be a bit more yellow than the usual pie crust.
When cut in half with a knife, you will find a yellow cheese sauce along with the usual fillings of potatoes, bacon, and onions.
The crispy pie crust and creamy, melt-in-your-mouth filling are very delicious. The flavor of the rich, full-bodied cheese sauce pairs well with the smoky flavor of the bacon.
Personally, I thought it was very tasty, but honestly, I don’t think I need the cheese because I can enjoy the deliciousness of the potatoes and bacon more in the plain “Bacon Potato Pie” without cheese.
